I have observed several hummers at my feeder this summer. But, am ready to take my feeder in for the winter. Yesterday 09/25/11 to my surprise I had 2 females still at my feeder and today 09/26/11 I have seen one. This has been such a surprise to me for I thought that they would be gone by now. Is this unusual and am I doing them harm by still having my feeder out this late?
