Over the past several days, 9/23 - 2/26 monarch's have been stopping in the garden or flying by high up overhead. Today I was in the garden for awhile and observed individual monarchs - never more than 1 at a time. They went to all the bright red or orange flowers but always ended up on the mexican sunflowers and spent alot of time there - upwards of 10-15+ minutes before moving on.
