Sept. 23th I had at least 12 hummers and ones in the trees; I filled the feeder and decided to put my index fingers on two of the perches; and to my delight two of them sat on my fingers and ate, what fun! They do seem to get to know you; you just have to be patient and hold still. I even took my gand-daughter out there and they came back around after she sat in a chair.
Today, Sept. 26th it's cool and rainy. I still have five females.
