I was calling names for car riders last Friday and there came a lone monarch butterfly right through the car rider line, didn't stop, just kept heading south. I announced it on the speaker that a monarch butterfly just went by our school. The students cheered. It was the first one reported. I'm sure we will have more! I love this time of year!!!
