Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 09/22/2011

Number: 100

September 27
Every year since we moved to this location, towards the last week of September/first week of October, we have hundreds of monarchs roosting, nightly for about a week or so. They have just started arriving as of late last week. We are in a terrible drought this year and they still show up.

I first noticed the roost September 22.
