In York, PA at the York Country Club, 6 wild Monarchs were flitting about in the the very large, tall, old, ivy-covered oak trees, right above a wedding ceremony. We spent most of the wedding looking up in the trees to see if there was a roost-but didn't spot one.
Weather was threatening with a storm nearby, which might explain what they were doing in such a pesticide laden place!
