short observation of ten minutes, same monarch feeding on the butterfly bush along with a skipper, a buckeye and another medium size black butterfly with an orange stripe and white accents. also had a close encounter with a "shop worn" buckeye that was stranded in my screen-porch....I scooped it up in my hands and tried to set it free. it did not fly away when prompted..it sat in my hand for ten minutes and eventually lifted off, pretty neat!
