Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/28/2011

Number: 1

We saw so many just a week ago--males and females were racing each other to our feeder and the flowers. They drank so much that it seemed like they were filling up for their journey. Then things got quiet and I thought they'd all left. This evening a female appeared at the feeder quite a few times. The weather has been rainy and cooler temperatures, but still very humid. The sun came out late this afternoon...and so did this hummingbird!
