We had a very cold, hard rain on Monday 9/26/11 and did not see any hummers until the rain stopped that evening. Then I saw one bird drinking at a feeder and I have seen it every day since. But only one bird at a feeder at a time, usually early morning and then again early evening. I have not seen it this morning yet but it is still dark outside Thursday 9/29/11.
