Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 09/22/2011

Number: 2

At this point I've had the one female ruby-throated hummingbird for almost three weeks now, and saw her plenty of times again today! She has taken to perching on one of the bare twiglets of my Japanese holly, and so I've attempted a few photographs. She's very active and tiny, the skies have been consistently cloudy, and it's through the window, but she's still extremely cute! Later in the day, while she was nectaring the spotted jewelweed toward the middle of the garden, I saw another one just like her on the same plants near the back, fun! So happy I've provided this little oasis for them...it's the whole reason I planted this particular wildflower.
