While on the playground today, we counted 5 monarchs! The weather was beautiful, in the seventies with a light breeze. We observed the butterflies gliding along on the breeze, hardly flapping their wings at all today. One fluttered down to about 3 feet in the air, the others were 20-30 feet in the sky. All were headed in a Southerly direction.
