This evening from 6:30 pm to 7 pm, I watched an immature or possibly female Rufous Hummingbird in my yard. It spent quite a long time preening after the short rain we had. It then flew back and forth from the feeder to its favorite perch. We have seen this bird in the evenings off and on for a few days.
