Observed single Monarch Buterfly at 10:30 a.m., 10:40 a.m., 10:50 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. Assumed it to be the same Monarch since it appeared to be searching for milkweed and or nectar and was flying in circles and landed on a poor sunflower flower for a moment then went on. Our drought continues and butterflies will have to work hard to find nectar.
