A very healthy looking female visited. She landed on my clothesline to rest. After awhile, she flew over to the feeder, and seemed to guard it. But, I didn't see any other hummers around. She never took a sip from it, but did visit all of my red salvia flowers that are in pots under the feeder, and had a snack. This has been the latest date I have ever had hummers visit my yard.
