The Anna's hummingbirds stayed away for a couple of days to avoid the swarm of aggressive hornets. But they came back after I discouraged the hornets by switching to feeders unfriendly to insects. I counted eleven today, but I was gone for much of the day and there may have been more. In any case, I'm sure there were four mature male Anna's, two juvenals, and five females. Spotted at different feeders at the same time.)
