Signs of Fall

Date: 10/01/2011

Number: 1

The tide of Hummingbirds has stopped. I saw one lone butterfly today, but we had a light frost last night, harder coming tonight, I would say the garden is done. The chickadees and juncos are already after the sunflowers, and the cardinals, bluejays and nuthatches are starting to gather closer to the yard. Soon I will put out the feeders, now that the hummingbird feeders are down.
