Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/02/2011

Number: 275

I had seen several sightings of one and two monarchs for the last week or so both at home and school. However, this was the first time this year for seeing the roosting. The drought in Texas this year had me worried, but we keept our yard watered and it paid off. Just beautiful to see hundreds of butterflies circling overhead.A heavenly canopy of grace and beauty.
