Perfect Fall Day! After record heat and drought, at 5 p.m., temp of 80 degrees Fahrenheidt, clear sky, slight breeze. In my backyard garden, a pair of bright, vigorous males spent the day sparing: necturing at Ascelpias tuberosa, firebush and "Blue Mist" Eupatorium greggii. I expected them to head off in a SW direction at any time, but no!
