For the past month and a half, we have had literally 100's of hummers. We were using 1 1/2 gallons of nectar a day. This week end, we got a cool snap and most hummers have moved on. We have probably 25 or so birds left here. I work with two other guys that live around Houston. They were having the same numbers as I did and their hummers left Saturday Oct.1st also.
