Now that I've [mostly] driven away the hornets, the Anna's hummingbirds are returning. I'm hoping that they settle in for the winter again, as they've done in previous years. So far, I've seen about a dozen today. Four females and several mature and juvenal males. [Photo: female Anna's at a hornet-free feeder.]
