Wasn't able to see the feeders for much of the day. I did happen on one hummer sitting on the feeder and feeding outside my kitchen window. It was very pudgy,so much so it was struggling to fly away! It looked very healthy and flew away when it saw me. It is very cold and over cast here today, 45 degrees. It is supposed to return to normal 70 degrees during the day, tomorrow. There are also many flowers healthy and blooming here right now, so there are food sources other than the feeder. We had a terrible drought here this summer and the flowers were devastated so it is delightful to get some flowers to enjoy...even if it is late in the year.Hummers were here until October 11 last year.
