Monarch Fall Roost

Date: 10/03/2011

Number: 10000

Yesterday [Oct 2] the [migrating] butterflies were so thick they darkened the sky and would you know my camera is not fully functional.

Today in my yard west of Fort Stockton the trees are dripping with monarchs. They are so thick in the air I can hear and feel the wing beats. 10,000s Maybe a 100,000. It's crazy beautiful (3 hours ago)

I wish all of you could see this with me because it phenomenal.
