Texas Lepidoptera Survey
from Big Bend Nat'l Pk, north to Davis Mtns, and west to Del Rio, TX.
We easily saw between 3-5000 from BIBE and DM to Del Rio in the last few days. There were few nectaring places except for that stretch of Pecos Co. between Brewster and Terrell Co.'s, and extreme eastern Brewster Co., where there had been some rain and lots of composites were in full bloom, covered with Monarchs. Lots of road kill, too.
