Sightings report image

Date: 10/04/2011

Number: 1

Saw three, possibly four, Monarchs feeding on goldenrod on the back hills. They looked to be in good shape. Also saw one newly hatched yesterday and my wife saw another flying south across a road southwest of here. Our late summerlike weather is giving the late emergees a chance, but they'll need good luck on the winds to follow our week of warm days and sun.
Pictures show three of the Monarchs.
