Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/04/2011

Number: 4

It felt like a family group: one lovely fat ruby throated male, one juvenile male (thanks for the information on how to tell them from females), one very plump mama and a tiny slip of a girl!! Just as noisy as they always are.

They showed up when I put fresh sugar water out, perched in the climbing rose and buzzed around the porch. They have been here since about 9:30 this morning, so, 6 hours in one spot.
