The migration has finally arrived on Long Beach Island...the monarchs are everywhere! Within 1000'from my home to the beach, I observed over 30 at 10 AM...while on the beach they were coming off the ocean in groups...continually! Some were so tired they were seen resting on the beach...others were flying in groups toward the dunes and heading for food and cover for the night...they are feeding on our flowers and ignoring the feed stations...one just flew by my window as I was typing this report...absolutely magical to be surrounded by these magnificent creatures!
