Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/05/2011

Number: 2

Only two "wild" Monarchs today. We did release three raised Monarchs today with a kindergarten class - lots of fun. One monarch didn't want to leave for Mexico - I guess was enjoying the kids too much. About 30 kids jumping up and down singing "Fly butterfly fly!" Photo will be in next week's local newspaper. Today was the first relatively warm and sunny day in about a week at 14 deg C.
