Between 11:30 am and 1 pm there were 4 monarch butterflies in and around the Butterfly House in the Conservation Garden at the Virginia Living Museum. Three of the monarchs were tagged and released, headed southwest. The fourth one was nectaring on butterfly bush. I swung and missed, it headed southwest.
