Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 10/04/2011

Number: 16

At 5pm I watched 16 Monarchs spaced approx 1-3 minutes apart come down off Peters Mountain in Dauphin (an Appalachian ridge)and each one funnel in the same exact directional flight path over Dauphin. They were flying in front of brewing dark storm clouds. Drove home 1 mile from the observation point at the town bank and saw 3 high Monarchs come down through the treetops to nectar on my butterfly bushes.
