Not a monarch but a wonderful black butterfly with a band of white border on the bottom edge of the outside of its wings danced around my midtown manhattan apartment building near central park yesterday for a full 5 minutes and i have been unable to find its identity on any butterfly sites anyone know what it is? tx jeanette mason
