Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/07/2011

Number: 7

i was out of town 3 weeks and all my 7 feeders (BIG) were drained. First thing I did was make bright yellow food. I put 3 feeders out last night. this morning we are seeing around 7 so far. we spotted a definite ruby throat. One we are watching one that wants food but does not understand how to get it out of a feeder. Our favorite we called Rambo is not here now. He got the name from his aggressive take on all comers that got near "his" feeder. We hear them all around us in the trees. We spotted one we never saw before that was smaller than a ruby throat we do not know the name.
