Our Grade 2 & 3 classes planted our tulips today! We planted 50 Red Emperor tulips. We wanted to get them in the ground because yesterday we had a mix of weather. It was cold and we had rain, hail, lots of wind and even some snowflakes! When we went out to plant this morning the sun was shining bright but it was very cold. The temperature was -1C and our hands were freezing. We had frost the night before and are expecting frost again tonight. We sure hope our tulip bulbs stay warm in their bed of soil. It will be a while before we see them emerge, but we will keep observing the changes.
