An amazing sight was beheld by us this day, that of hundreds of butterflies coming past us in waves. Neither one of us had ever been honored by the thrill of being in the midst of the monarch migration...We happened to be out at 11:30 am, and we don't truly know how long they had been passing through. Here is a photo of one of them as it stopped to eat something...
