Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/04/2011

Number: 125

It was the most amazing sight. After five days of rain. Temperature 58 degrees, the sun finally came out, then it started. Butterflies floating out the northeast traveling southwest into a mild headwind. We counted 125 butterflies in one(1) hour. Mostly one at a time, but some were in groups of up to three. Vaya Con Dios!
