I saw one lone Monarch flying along the path I was walking bordering the Hudson River in NYC. It was flying south all by itself as far as I know. Just watching that small butterfly working so hard to fly south all by itself brought home just how far it has to go and how much it has to work to get there. I hope it makes it to Mexico.
