Monarch PEAK Migration

Date: 10/06/2011

Number: 30

A friend just reported seeing 20-30 monarchs nectaring on a butterfly bush on the north end of the island and "lots of them" along the boulevard as he was driving north. It was warm (mid 60s) and sunny, no comment on the wind. This should bode well for a great weekend at Cape May.

And I am at work, not seeing many monarchs except the ones we've been raising in school. The kids just tagged and released 6.
