Hummingbird Sighting (Adult Male)

Date: 10/10/2011

Number: 1

For the past week there were two male hummers visiting our feeders. They were stragglers and no more than two each day BUT a different two visiting every two to three days. We have only one male hummer today. He spends alot of time at the feeder. I take the feeders down during the night hours to protect them from drinking cold liquid in the early chilly hours of the day. I was hanging the feeders today and he was buzzing my head before I could get it in place. I hate to think that the visits of our feathered friends are almost over!!!
