Sighted two, perhaps three Monarchs along Blanco River west of Wimberley nectaring on frostweed flowers along the river..
Exactly zero other butterflies and skippers on perhaps 100 or so observable frostweeds. Early Sunday 10-08-11 morning rain out here has really perked up the vegetation, though. There's hope for this place after all.
