Hummingbird Sighting

Date: 10/10/2011

Number: 10

Right before thunderstorms on 10/9, over 60 birds were present. They enjoyed the much needed rain so much. This morning, when first looking out the window, there was about 60 birds again. But after walking outside, knew that wouldn't last long. There was a cool north wind along the Texas gulf coast. By afternoon, there were about 10 birds. Primarily females; may be one male in the mix. I was able to take the attached picture on 10/9 at one cluster of feeders with the rain still clinging.
