Wonder of wonders, saw a lone monarch this afternoon while outside taking the laundry off the clothesline. Strangely enough, it landed on the headlight of our truck. Too bad I didn't have my cell phone handy to take a photo. After tomorrow, we are supposed to have several days of rain. I wonder how far it will get? This may be the latest I've seen a monarch up here in Haliburton.
