After lunch our students have 15-20 minutes of time outside to relax or play ball. Today some of the students decided to watch for monarch butterflies. In the short time we were out, I observed with the students 7 monarchs. They were not all in the same area of our grounds. Some were near the succer fields and we walked over to get a closer look so we could be sure they were monarchs. This was a nice partly cloudy but mostly sunny day. It was about 85F with a slight breezed from the south.
