Saw 2 rubythroat hummingbirds this morning. Were working salvia guaranitica,salvia coccinea,lantana and visiting feeders. One adult female was trying to drive away the other one. Two or three hummingbirds were seen yesterday also.So a few are still in my area. I highly recommend the planting of salvia guaranitica to attract hummingbirds. The great thing about it is, it blooms all season long. The hummingbirds love it. Am in USDA zone 7. It dies back in winter but comes back in early spring.
