Signs of Fall

Date: 10/09/2011

Number: 1

We had the rainiest, coolest summer on record, even for Alaska. We are used to getting nice hot summers and the past 3 have been rainy, rainy, rainy where we are. Such is life! We're having a nice fall so far. Yes, all the leaves are down now! Fall is a very short season here. We have had several days of 30 degrees with one hard frost. I still have my potatoes in the garden but will be taking them out this week.
