Personally this has been a bad year for us in the number of butterflies we have seen. I have food and milkweed in my garden and no butterflies during the summer. I was suprised when I noticed a neighbors butterfly bush was covered on sunday. My Mom who lives close had a monarch sit on her hummingbird feeder for almost 5 minutes and drink the nector!
