I am still seeing a few monarchs here in town. They like to nectar at my butterfly bush in the backyard at home and we are noticing them in the park here by the nature center also. One was captured by some students yesterday and when released it circled until it had gained sufficient altitude to have a clear view south beyond the building, then it went on south without any hesitation!
