Between late morning and mid-afternoon on Sunday 10/10/11 I saw nine individual Monarchs (none together) at locations ranging from ocean dunes to open fields and my backyard around 1/4 mile inland from the ocean in Sagaponack, NY about 100 miles east of NYC.
