Again today I saw a slightly moving feeder in no wind leading me to believe a hummer had just departed. I have noticed this during the last 4 or 5 days but no bird. Today in very late afternoon I finally saw a bird. It was 61 degrees F and followed a day of rain which produced a half an inch. A cold front is due this evening so this may be the last sighting of the year from me.
