First grade students at Meridian Elementary School planted our 8th annual Journey North Red Emperor Tulip Garden. It was a beautiful fall afternoon with the temperature in the low 70's. In addition to Red Emperors, we also planted a variety of other tulip bulbs in the front of the school near the main entrance and also in the gardens facing the street near our school marquee. We know that spring will bring a lot of beautiful blossoms to our school.
