This was the last day I saw a monarch on the butterfly bush again. Might have been the same one as previous days. She looked very healthy.
Some cold nights came along after that but then we had a 3 day heat wave with 85o temps Oct 8-10 and it's been in the high 60's since then, but I have not seen a single monarch during this warm and sunny spell. They must all be in New Jersey! Bon voyage!
