Small numbers of nectaring monarchs have been present in the fields at Choctaw Trails near Clinton, MS for the past week. Yesterday 3 students in my Entomology Class captured 19, all nectaring on boneset (Eupatorium), between 3 and 4 pm. These have been tagged and will be released in the next hour.
